Branson's live music entertainment industry turns 50 this year! And 2009 also marks the 50th anniversary of Branson's first show, The Baldknobbers. In 1959, the Mabe brothers started entertaining visitors in downtown Branson that came to the Ozarks to enjoy the outdoors and the lakes. Little did they know that Branson would become the "Live Music Show Capital of the World!"

Climate

Winter
Mild Winter with snow accumulations between 1 and 2 inches. Branson is now open year round.  Main roads are kept open.

Spring
Branson's Spring begins in late March and April. Temperatures range from the high of 80's and 70's and lows in the 40s and 50s..

Summer
The Summer extends from June through August and well into September with highs often in the 80's and lows in the 50s and 60s.

Fall
Branson's Fall is October and November with November high temperatures still averaging in the 50s and lower 60s.
